The money raised will be used to consolidate some of my bad debt as well as help me reach other current goals. I have put myself on a 5-year plan to get out debt that has accumulated due to student loans, and credit card debt that was created when I was laid off in 2009. The reason I used my credit cards was because I did not want to burden my family with asking for money as they have their own problems financially and otherwise. I used my savings and when that was exhausted I moved to the cards.

My financial situation: I am a good candidate for your contribution becauseâ?¦ although my credit score (why I can not obtain traditional loans) is low it is not a true reflection of my credit worthiness. I am currently a victim of identity theft that started in 2008 and I am constantly finding new issues on my credit reports of purchases for items and services I myself did not make. I am now working with Kroll to resolve these issues.

I am aggressively paying down my debts often paying over minimum payments. I have sold many personal items that are not necessary in order to pay these debts down, including designer clothing, exercise equipment, and small household appliances. I eat on a limited budget, and I can honestly not tell you the last time I bought something like a new top and even find myself guilty if I â??splurge" on a Jamba Juice as a treat for a special achievement. Within the past couple of years I have been educating myself in financial literacy and find myself a big fan of The Rich Dad, Poor Dad book series. With some of the available cash flow this loan will afford me, I will be able to reinvest in my small business and possibly expand. This will create growth that will lead to new positions needing to be filled with like-minded women like myself. In an economy such as ours especially in this city we need more small business owners creating jobs so people can put food on the table for their families.


Since the beginning of Dec of 2010 I have not been working due to severe illness that has to do with a health conditon I have been diagnosed with since I was 15 yrs old ( I actually had symptoms as early as 12). It is my wish to reach this goal so I can grow my business so I can hire others to do the work I simply can not do at this time.
